Every season and holiday brings new opportunities to teach and create happy memories for children.

Books are one of the best ways to achieve this goal.

Between motherhood and teaching, I have had the the experience to observe children reactions to certain books (whether they like them or not).

So, to make your life easier, I have compiled a list of Easter books that are Easter bunny & egg focused that are sure to spark joy!

Happy Easter, Curious George written by Margaret & H. A. Reys

Curious George  observes traditional Easter activities such as dyeing and hiding Easter eggs.

Of course, as most all Curious George books, the adorable monkey gets into trouble along the way.

By the end, he  corrects his innocent mistakes and has a fun day celebrating Easter traditions!

A bonus with this book is that it includes stickers!

The Berenstain Bears and the Real Easter Eggs written by Stan & Jan Berenstain

This story shows how we can easily get lost in material things.

We sometimes forget the important moments or beauty in life that doesn’t cost a thing.

As all Berenstain Bears books, this story leads to an important message that serves as a reminder to all of us.

Happy Easter, Little Critter written by Mercer May

I love the characters in Little Critter books.

The story goes through what many may say is a typical Easter day for kids.

It is a short story that has colorful & detailed pictures.

It’s Not Easy Being a Bunny written by Marilyn Sadler

P.J Bunny is tired of being a bunny. He ventures out to become a different animal. Yet, every animal, P.J. decides, has something about them that makes him want to move on to become a different animal.

In the end, he realizes he was just right being a bunny!

This book is less about Easter and more about being a bunny.

Don’t Push The Button!  An Easter Surprise written by Bill Cotter

This book is short with interactive fun!

It is perfect for younger children especially toddlers or preschool aged children

The Easter Cub written by Justine Korman Fontes

This book shows the sweet perception of the changing seasons through the wonder of a bear cub.

It shows changes of spring and eventually the beauty and joy of Easter.

This is a  good book for emergent readers.

Little Blue Bunny written by Erin Guendelsberger

This is a heartwarming story of a boy and the adventures of his life. Everything is made better when he and his blue bunny experience  moments together.

It is a  longer story that probably would not hold the attention of real young children.

I read it to my 4.5 year old and it had his attention throughout the entire story.
