Kid Craft Ideas and Activities
Spending time at home with your little is such a gift for a mother. I know – I was a teacher for nearly 17 years. Once I had my son, I continued to teach for about 3 years. I loved teaching/working but I couldn’t help thinking of all my son’s milestones that I was missing. There were many times throughout those years that caused me to become emotional.
The pandemic, in a way, forced me to quit my job and become a stay-at-home mom. It was a very bittersweet decision but in many ways a blessing in disguise.
Now that I am home, I know as an educator the importance of teaching my son age level skills. I also know children need to develop the ability to use scissors or fold paper. Simple tasks such as those are just as important as learning the alphabet and counting.
I have created a variety of fun craft activities to help keep your little one busy and at the same time help teach fine motor skills!
Enjoy!
